X3 was a great summer action flick, though I think it suffered a bit from trying to focus on way too many characters in such a short amount of time.
As for an X4, I guess it depends on the financial success of this movie and the greed of the actors involved. For the right price, I'm sure a few X-Men wouldn't mind pulling a phoenix after The Last Stand...
