    A Couple Thoughts

President Obama first clears the way for doctor assisted killing of innocent babies by abortion which now of course, provides the stock for his Stem Cell research today. Just as the public has been legislatively mugged by these hasty and thoughtless "spending" packages where no less than 7% will be wasted (some $50+ billion), our moral standards are likewise being swept aside by the flow of blood from the executive pen.

Secondly, while I'm not opposed to Stem Cell research in and of itself, it is the process by which the cells are obtained that I am vehemently opposed. There are a lot of babies who die for various natural or sometimes unnatural reasons and if the cells were obtained from these instead of deliberately aborted children, I would not have a problem.

Mr. Obama failed in being too quick to act without thoughts of the implications and just as the money that is being poured into the pockets of the greedy without sufficient regulation, so also has the causes of life and death been moderated without brevity, caution or due process of thought.

Fertility clinics and aborted fetus are a perfect place to obtain them.  It's like being an organ donor.  They would be given a honorable use instead of being disposed of.  Their brief life/non-life (however you look at it) would have meaning.

It would not increase abortions but make the ones that occur mean something meaningful.  Potentially save a life.
