I filed a complaint in 2006 because an "officer of the law" supposedly was doing his job in protecting, etc. When I received the police report from my insurance company, because I couldn't get one through the police office; the entire report was a LIE, yes a wonderfully created confabulation. It was a hit and run where a woman pulled out of a parking lot and hit me broadside as I rode my motorcycle! She broke my leg and the officer later said, hit and runs "happen all the time, there's nothing that you can do". My complaint was "looked into" and it was determined that supervisory action be taken with respect to one area of the investigation report. It didn't state which area but probably the untimeliness of the filing of the report (3 months).
Well, today I feel that justice MAY be served as I saw on the news, that SAME officer is now an EX- trooper because he has pleaded guilty to a federal investigation of tipping off undercover cops to a national prostitution ring. From my experience, he was a dirty cop but from the news; I hadn't realized HOW dirty. It takes a sick person. 10 years and $250,000 just doesn't seem enough.
