Our dog is house broken, but continues to have accidents when he comes with us to friends' and relatives' houses.

Any suggestions on how we can break him of this?

Never take the dog anywhere again. Its bad behavior has given you no choice but to force it to be a hermit for the rest of its days.

I think Da Guru be messin' wit ya, Melissa.  The poor little pup gets scared in unfamiliar environments and probably has a touch of agoraphobia complicated by incontinence.  Pet Prozac may be a partial solution and Doggy Diapers will help avoid the messes until your dog's cognitive behavioral therapist can help it resolve its issues.
