Well, I TRY to love it!! Summers are absolutely HEAVEN here!!! Massachusetts we had about one week of decent enough heat to go out at night without a sweater on. Here the wonderful warm night temperatures go on for a long time! I just mowed the lawn the other day, DECEMBER 11!!! I loved being able to do that! Snowy weather kind of sucks here since it melts too fast when we do get any most winters. I really hate the cold, but try to look at the good side of it. I can leave my frozen orange juice "drink" in the car when I go to work and its still good and cold when I go home! I can eat ice cream and it won't melt so fast as in the summer! So there are good points I try to love about the crummy cold weather here.

I give up, so be it with the weather, life goes on....

Hello all, Joanie here again....Hope all is well with you and I do mean everyone, I know a lot of people on this station from watching over the years and being a writer myself, I enjoy both doing some writing as well as reading other text both from reporters as well as just people that write in. I do also like to receive e-mails as well.

Perhaps someone who either knows the smileys rather well or doesn't and would like to know me, can figure out why I put that one up for tonight?

Quite obviously I do not have much to say, but I did want to drop by and say hello and wish you all well, a great Thanksgiving as well as I doubt very much I will see you all by then plus the fact I don't know too many of the people on the forum, but am working on it.

THIS GOES TO SHANE WHO TRIED HIS BEST TO WARN US THAT WE SHOULD BE AWARE THAT LAST WEEK AS I WAS IN SHORTS

AND SITTING IN THE SUN WITH MY DOG AT MY FEET, MY SHADES WHERE THEY BELONG AND TRYING TO IGNORE THE PEOPLE AROUND ME, TRUST ME, BETTER LIKE THAT.

WELL, SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO HIM, AS HE WARNED US THAT THE TEMPS WHERE GOING TO DROP AND EVEN SHOWED US ON THE WEATHER MAP WHAT WE WERE IN FOR, BUT OF COURSE, I DIDN'T LISTEN AND THOUGHT, NAH COULDN'T BE.

SHOULD HAVE LISTENED AS IT IS BLOODY COLD. THE ONLY OTHER PLACE I COULD THINK OF IT BEING COLDER WAS IN ENGLAND, MORE RAIN, HENCE HERE I HAD AND BOY IS IT

COLD!! QUITE FRANKLY IN THE 6+ YRS. I HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO RESIDE HERE IN CENTRAL, PA....I KINDA AGREE WITH SOMETHING I HEARD ON THE RADIO ONCE {THERE ARE TWO SEASONS IN CENTRAL PA}. IT IS EITHER HOTTER THAN..... AS IN THE SUMMER OR YOU ARE COLDER THAN ALL HECK, AS IN WINTER.

TELL ME WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT SHANE, HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU FOR MANY YRS., NOT ONLY IN PA.

Kudos to the weather team at CBS 21. You kept us up to date on what was happening without spreading doom and destruction. It's that kind of solid, accurate forecast that makes the difference.
