How did some of the employees know about the hearing? I didn't know until it was on the news. If we all would have known we could have been there to make some noise and let the *** know how we felt.

I was told Walton was affiliated in some way with Textron, does anyone know if this is true or just fabrication?

Re: Turbine Airfoil Designs! I worked there.

how funny is this? remember when mccain came in to tad and walton was sucking up to him? i found this link that shows that john a walton, from walton johnson group in texas, made a $1000 contribution to the 'obama for america' campaign. nothing like playing for both teams...

oh, and by the way mr walton, there are quite a few of your employees that could have used that money, since it is owed to us...

    Hi TAD employees,

It was great seeing scumbag John Alonzo Walton scurrying away from CBS 21 News looking for a rock or a hole to crawl under and hide. What a snake! That piece of garbage showed his true colors, pushing the cameraperson out of the way and acting like the jerk that he is. He could not even answer some simple questions; all he said was "No comment." ... "No comment." ... "No comment."

I was informed he tried to rebut his lousy antics by going on 27 News and answering questions. In that segment, he apparently tried to lay blame on Mr. Hoy after the lapse/default in insurance coverage became known by claiming Mr. Hoy should have taken some sort of action to secure coverage!!! WALTON YOU LYING, THIEVING, CONIVING RAT, YOU ARE THE ONE TO BLAME FOR THE CRISIS AT TAD!!!!!!!!!! How dare you insinuate that fault rested with Mr. Hoy!!!!!!!!!! I hope the Hoy family sues you and the other trash in upper management at TAD!!!!!!!!!!

I know darn well that John Walton did NOT want to be in Harrisburg on Monday sitting in that courtroom! He would much rather have been spending his time lounging in his office back in Dallas, Texas, scheming and preparing to purchase another business to deplete and destroy, as per his previous business history. Unfortunately for him, other court hearings will be taking place against Walton and TAD in the future. Perhaps we should all seek information about the dates and times of any future hearings. Such information should be shared and posted in this forum for all to see.

In all probability, Walton will be required to once again attend future court proceedings. At the next hearing, it would be nice to see a multitude of TAD employees at the courthouse to confront that piece of crap John Walton!!!

    Keep Up The Fight,

    ETD

Re: Turbine Airfoil Designs! I worked there.

    gerry3902:

Our company did work for TAD. We are owed approximate $1,500. for service work. We just received a legal notification that Textron Financial Corp, another creditor that is owed more than $600,000. (in loans), has filed a motion petitioning the US District Court in the Middle District of PA to appoint a receiver.

If granted, the receiver could be given the authority to auction off all of the plant's equipment (loan collateral) in an attempt to satisfy what is owed to Textron. Textron apparently has first priority security to certain plant assets due to loans acquired by TAD, The Walton Johnson Group, and John A Walton in the state of TX.

However, per the filed motion, anyone who objects to this motion has to reply by 5:00pm, Fri 09/24/09.

The Court will rule on any filed objection by 10:00am, Tues 09/28/09, in Courtroom 3 in the Federal Bldg., 228 Walnut St, Harrisburg, PA.

If your union has an attorney representing its members, your union attorney will have to respond to this motion. They may have already received this same notification - maybe not.

If you have apersonal attorney he would likely have to file a similar objection to this motion.

It is Civil Action No. 09-1714 with Judge John E Jones presiding.

I believe if this motion is granted, only Textron will recive any monies for debts owed by the now defunct TAD.

    Hi gerry3902,

Thank you so much for posting this information! If you are aware of any other upcoming hearing dates and times, please post that information here.

    Thanks again,

    ETD

    TAD employees,

If any worker has information on the shipment of possibly or potentially defective parts from the TAD facility, please send your information to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Should defective parts from TAD be used in aircraft and an airline disaster occurs, TAD management and its owner would be held accountable for the tragedy. It is better to ground several airplanes in order to check them for defects and tolerances, etc., than to take the risk of withholding such information when hundreds of lives could be at stake! It would also be advisable to contact the Defense Department (not listed here) since parts from TAD have been incorporated into military aircraft.

    Hello jilted,

Thanks for this information! It is with great pleasure that I can read about the fact that three corporate officers are finally going to be held accountable for the TAD fiasco, including John A. Walton!!!!!

Below is the story jilted has alerted us to:

Breaking News: Attorney General Suing T.A.D. Over "Health Care Disaster".

Attorney General Tom Corbett announced that the A.G.'s Health Care Section has filed a lawsuit against the Texas-based aviation parts manufacturer, including three corporate officers.  They are accused of failing to pay health care premiums for their Harrisburg area employees while continuing to deduct employee contributions from paychecks - leaving employees to face massive medical bills.

Corbett said the consumer protection lawsuit was filed in Dauphin County COurt of Common Pleas.

The lawsuit also names the following corporate officers:

    • TAD C.E.O. John A. Walton of Dallas, Texas.  Walton also serves as president of TAD's parent company, Walton Johnson Group, Inc.
    • TAD president Benjamin C. Frazier of Harrisburg
    • Tad C.F.O. Anne C. Richie of Beachwood, Ohio
The suit also seeks thousands of dollars in fines.

The company acknowledges it's responsible for the bills, but says it cannot afford to pay them.

Financial troubles at the aircraft-parts plant prompted Capital BlueCross to retroactively cancel coverage in March. That left some people with tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid medical bills.

Thanks again jilted for alerting us to this breaking news!!! Evidently, more is upcoming on a CBS 21 News report scheduled for this evening (10/13/09) at 11 pm.

Thanks to Attorney General Tom Corbett for having the courage to take legal action against the corporate crooks bent on profiteering at the expense of the employees!!!!!

Thanks to State Representative Mark B. Cohen for having the courage to take legislative action to prevent corporate crooks from harming workers in the future!!!

Re: Turbine Airfoil Designs! I worked there.

    TAD employees,

This information was taken from one of the "other" news agencies reporting on the TAD fiasco. It is concerning the decision by PA Attorney General Tom Corbett to sue TAD and its corporate officers.

    --------------------------------------

    Quote from the report:

The Attorney General wants to hear from more employees. If you have not already done so, you are instructed to file formal complaints with his Health Care Section.

Consumers can file an online health care complaint at http://www.attorneygeneral.gov. Highlight the "Complaints" button and select "Health Care Complaints." You may also call the Attorney General's Health Care Hotline, at 1-877-888-4877.

    --------------------------------------

    Keep Up The Fight
