    > The DMV is the appropriate investigative agency to look into your complaint. I would alert them to the 2007 incident as well and provide them with all of the related paperwork.

    > Community Chevrolet Allowing a Vehicle to be driven off the Lot without approval from Bank, 2 weeks later asking for vehicle to be returned after i got rid of my old vehicle Burbank California
    > The Original Ripoff Report Text:On 11/15/2008 i purchased a 2007 chevy HHR from this dealership, I asked the finance manager ( Maury) who do i senfd my monthley payment to he told me i mail to the Bank which is the Lein Holder, I asked him who the bank was he said a bank was not assigned however if you look at my sales contract the Loan is attached with the finance charge and the date for the First payment is mentioned, I signed and agreed to the cointract terms. I even gave the dealer 3 checks to cover the Downpayment of 1500.00 in installments. After driving off the dealerships lot on that day, and driving the vehicle 400 miles per day 2 weeks later on 11/24/2008 i received a letter from Maury stating they were unable to retreive a bank to cover the loan and they want the vehicle returned. I have contacted GM, Attorney General of california, DMV Investigative Office in canoga Park,ca,BBB, and the Dealer it self to file a complaint. My complaint to this matter is why was i able to drive off the lot with no Official Loan or Bank assigned. Im willing to pay for the vehicle per month . if i return the vehicle now , I stuck with no vehicle and the Community Chevrolet has jeopardized my Job. My suggestion to the dealer would be well they made the mistake by letting the vehicle go without a loan approved then they need to cover as a inhouse loan and i pay the dealer. or with the way the laws are they should just eat the amount owed. No wonder why GM is going bankrupt with dealers like these people just giving cars away without a loan. I donot need this problem, I work very hard for a Living, I work 14 to 20 hours a day just to struggle. and this Dealership is trying to make my life a living hell. If GM allows dealers to conduct like tthis then they deserve to go bankrupt, because they are nothing but ***. Especially when i have been a loyal Chevy customer for my years alive. > On 11/25/2008 Community Chevrolet sent 3 white males with a Unmarked tow truck to my Address to pickup the vehicle. I parked the vehicle on private property(With Permission Of course from the Catholic Church, The 3 males forced the gate open with their tow truck to tow my car. I asked where the guys were taking the car they said it was going back to GMAC Bank , However the Car was not with the bank no loan has never been approved. The car is sitting in Burbank at Community Chevrolet at 200 W Olive, Burbank CA 91502. Attn Maury Finance manager. These people Lie and Cheat and take peoples money and then take back the Vehicle for no Reason, The 3 Male that were with the tow truck looked like Gang Affiliated. Community Chevrolet and Fred Ball Jr (Owner) Needs to be under Investigation and GM needs to remove them from their Dealership.

    > I work in the vicinity of Community Chevrolet and decided to visit them and take a look at cars. Little did I know that they are the worst liars, cheats and downright unscrupulous operators. I traded in a 2 year old Lincoln SUV and purchased a used H2 Hummer and a Express van at the same time. Over $60,000's in cars in one shot. The vehicles were financed in the usual way. A few weeks later I find out Community Chevrolet had 12 other finance companies bid the financing. These excessive inquiries will populate my credit bureaus for seven years. My FICO fell 45 points as a result. But it gets worse. The finance company that gave CC the biggest kick-back was WFS. CC told me the initials stood for Well Fargo something. 'That's great since I have an existing banking relationship with them currently'. That too was a lie. WFS has nothing to do with Wells Fargo. Two years went by and I went to trade in the Hummer. Still having a bad taste in my mouth from the CC lies, I went down the road to CarMax for an appraisal. In the 2 years of ownership I had very low miles and no dents, scratches. When I got the CarMax report the quote was $15,000 below wholesale list. I ***. I asked why so low. The appraiser opened the engine compartment hood and pointed out where the front end was replaced, clearly the vehicle was in a major accident or roll over. COMMUNUITY CHEVROLET FAILED TO DISCLOSE THE ACCIDENT and repair as required by law. I think you can see where we are going here. As a direct result of their actions I was forced to take a major hit. But the next loss was to soon come. The van I had purchased had very little use. About 2500 miles over a two year period. I had paid $17,000, a bit high but not a big deal. I went to return it and get a buy-back quote and the quote they gave me was an astonishing $6500.00. I was rather vocal about the $10,500 loss over 2 years. The used car buyer said that is what he could pay and pointed out that he would have to spend thousands on refurbishment. This was a lie as well. Before going to CC I took the van to CarMax (recall they are only a mile away) and thet estimated $9500.00. I is clear that COMMUNITY CHVROLET in Burbank is the worst plkace to do business with. They Lie. They Mislead. They take advantage. And they seem to be irreverent of the laws that govern their industry. What's next? Selling stolen cars? I wouldn't put it past them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. DISCOURAGE ANYONE YOU KNOW (except your enemies) FROM GOING TO THESE VERY BAD PEOPLE. JOIN A PETITION TO HAVE GM REMOVE THEIR DEALERSHIP. CONTACT YOUR CITY ATTORNEY OR DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO LOOK INTO THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES. These comments are my personal first person actual accounts and express my first amendment right to expose these types of going-ons. Thank you for your time and attention.Eye got screwedBURBANK, CaliforniaU.S.A.
