I'm PO'd I had to report to "work" today, If I didn't they would deny my UC Benefits.....I REALLY HATE doing work for people that lie and steal!!!!!!!! I wouldn't even waste the time or energy to beat the living crap out of them....They aren't even worth the effort!!!!!!....I know what would work,, Make the "rich" people POOR!!!!!!!!!

My prayers go out to all of us that "work/worked" there!

 

Thanks to CBS21 for outing this company and airing their dirty laundry to the world.  My father has worked at this location since 1966 in its various incarnations...TRW, Chromalloy, TAD... and is now struggling to pay medical bills.  Aside from the abominable insurance situation, paychecks were bouncing left and right and who knows what all the company stole from the employees as "deductions" off their paychecks.  One week, my father got a check with a BLANK pay stub.  Who even knows what was taken off?  Hopefully, TAD paid the Federal income taxes that were deducted.  My father is close to retirement and was really hoping things would turn around.  Things looked pretty dicey in January when hours were being cut and it got worse from there.  Pay cuts, insurance cancellations, etc.  I told him to contact one of the TV stations and get things started but he didn't want to make waves.  Thankfully, other guys took a stand and contacted CBS21.  It's unbelievable that employers are allowed to do these despicable things.  My mother spoke to Marsico's office, the Mayor's office, the Insurance Commission, the Attorney General's office and the U.S. Dept. of Labor and Industry.  She sent letters and copies of pay stubs showing medical deductions to demonstrate how lowdown and dirty the company is.  When she called the Mayor's office to let Mayor Reed know how the company he courted and gave a 5 year grant was now treating its employees, all she got was the runaround.   Thankfully, my father doesn't owe tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills like some of the guys do but what he does owe is more than enough to be distressing.  On behalf of my father who doesn't have internet or even a computer, I'd like to say thank you to CBS21 and to those of you who support these workers.

John Walton, Ben Frazier, and Anne Richie are scum in my opinion and I hope you all rot for the pain and stress you are causing to me and my fellow employees. I've been getting that line about getting this all fixed in the next few days since January, so I wouldn't hold my breath!

 

Has anybody actually heard from the big wigs lately? I am assuming that the actual news visit to TAD was a few days ago and it only aired last night? I am curious to see what they are saying to any of those brave souls that are stuck still working there. Baker, that sucks that they are pulling you in. Hopefully you will make out collecting a partial. We all know that the UCC office will pay on time...but what about TAD?

My family (i.e Father, Mother, Brother, Husband and myself) are all previous employees of TAD. These people don't seem to think or even care how what they have done and continue to do may affect entire families. I am a brand new mom of a beautiful 7 month old little girl and it angers me that for almost all of her entire life thus far my husband and I have spent countless hours making phone calls to try to get her medical bills straightened out. All it would have taken was for those cowards running TAD to be honest and tell us what was going on. Not to mention the embarrassment when the medical care giver has to tell you that your claim has been denied because their is no coverage, and we have no explanantion other than the poeple we are working for are a bunch of theives. They don't want to hear it, they just want their money and we can't blame them.

Im also in total disbeleif that the few workers who are left are made to continue to report for work never knowing if or when they will be paid. There has got to be something they can do about that.

Im sure Ben and Anne walk away with their 6 figure paychecks on time.

I always took pride in my work at TAD even when I felt like it didn't matter. No one will ever be able to say that myself or my entire family didn't care or want to see that place thrive, the shame of it is, it never stood a chance under the management it was under.

Diamond, You are right! I personally sat in on a conference call with Anne Ritchie..

She assured us that the issues with the insurance would be taken care of 7 days from the date of the phone conference, that was March 24. Now I know I am not a rocket scientist but just to be sure I called my 11 year old neice and she figured out that it has been well over 7 days by now. Maybe she could help TAD with their finances? She would probably do a hell of a better job that's for sure!

 

I would still like to know where the union lawyers are in all this? Isn't this breech of contract?

The economy had nothing to do with the issues TAD has, it was idiotic decisions made by idiotic people!

Oh that's funny, I worked there for 4 years and I never knew we had a union *sarcasm*

I agree! I wish I knew who some of these ppl posting are. I wish ppl wouldn't be afraid to be themselves, We are doing nothing wrong!

Anne or Ben or Chuckie or Kevin have plenty of time, they are only there trying to ship parts and working overtime ??????, with 10 people IF THAT to pay off the $450,00 owed in insurance alone ??oops forget the pay checks guys, the bills and the impending creditors, we need to cover our ASS on this insurance thing so Ben has time for the golf course with buddy Graduate Walton!!!!!  b4 CBS NEWS 21 gets wise to our SCHEMES, CONS and LIES !!!!!
