The Seven Sorrows Development Committee is hosting “Grape Expectations,” a wine-tasting event, on Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the school gymnasium in Middletown.
The evening will feature a tasting of five Australian wines and an educational wine presentation by a wine expert from Margolis/Southern Wines of Philadelphia. The Jay Umble Jazz Trio will provide the evening’s entertainment. Attendees will enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and take home a commemorative wine glass. Dessert samples will be provided by Dove Chocolatier Apryl Spencer. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction.
Tickets are $30 and are available at the parish office, 280 N. Race St., Middletown through November 8. Must be 21 to attend. Group reservations are available. Seating is limited to 200.
