Special Speaker will be The Rev. Joseph DiPaolo, senior
pastor of Wayne United Methodist Church, Delaware County, PA and president of
the Historical Society of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of the United
Methodist Churches.
The Mennonite Children’s Choir of Lancaster under the
direction of Mrs. Darlene Hein will provide special music. The three-fold objective of the MCCL is to
provide musical excellence and discipline while emphasizing the meaning of
worship and service to God, to pass on their musical heritage through a
Christ-centered repertoire and to affirm their Anabaptist beliefs while
reflecting the musical diversity of the worldwide church.
A short business meeting and Böhm descendant recognition
will open the celebration.
The newly commissioned Boehm Chapel Fraktur by Lancaster
artist, Julie Kohler, will be unveiled and presented during the business
meeting. Copies in two sizes will be
available for purchase at the conclusion of the service.
