Dress for Success South Central PA will
host “Something to Share- An Afternoon Tea” on Sunday June 1, 2008 from 2-4 pm
at the Holiday Inn East, Harrisburg
on Lindle Road. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.
Dress
for Success South Central PA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to
promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing
professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to
help women thrive in work and in life. Since January 2007 we have suited over
600 women. We have facilitated basic computer training for 36 individuals and
have given away 22 refurbished computers.
We have opened a boutique in Harrisburg
and York and will be opening a boutique in Lebanon
this summer.
So bring your mother,
daughter, sister, mentor or friend and enjoy an afternoon of high tea, raffles
and a contest for the prettiest tea cup. Kathy Silks, Vice President, Community
Relations at WITF, will be the guest speaker.
