This is a couples event in honor of National Marriage Week. The event is a spin off of the healthy marriage movement wherein efforts are made to refresh marriages and showcase successful marriages. At this time of year, much attention is given to those in the process of planning a wedding. A CELEBRATION OF MARRIAGE aims to applaud those who are already in marriages. Great Celebrations, the originator of the Harrisburg event, believes strong marriages make for strong families and build strong communites wherein children are the chief benefactors. The event is offered as a service to the community.
