Evangel University Concert Choir to appear locally
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.,- The Evangel University Concert Choir will appear in concert at Christian Life in Camp Hill, Pa at 8:45 AM and 10:30 AM, on May 11, 2008. The Concert Choir is a 46 member ensemble that is currently touring Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and New York with a final performance at Carnegie Hall.
In the past 24 years, the Choir has toured in the 48 contiguous states, Canada, the Bahamas and 15 countries in Europe. In addition, the Choir has been honored with solo performances at Carnegie Hall in 1992, 1996 and 2000; and has performed for President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.
The repertoire of the Concert Choir ranges from classical to contemporary and the program is as varied and energetic as the 46- member choral ensemble itself.
