The Holy Spirit Hospital Auxiliary is holding its Spring Luncheon on Thursday, May 1, at the West Shore Country Club, Camp Hill.  The keynote speaker is Marie Savard, MD, an ABC News medical contributor, a nationally recognized internal medicine physician, expert on women’s health and champion for patient empowerment. Dr. Savard is the author of three books, has been a health columnist for Women’s Day magazine, and is a frequent health expert to the media, including The Oprah Show, The Today Show, The Early Show and Good Morning America.

            The Spring Luncheon event begins at 11:30 a.m. with a cash bar. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.  Dr. Savard’s presentation is entitled “Taking Charge of Your Own Health.” Following her speech, she will sign her book, The Body Shape Solution to Weight Loss, which can be purchased at the event for $12. Free bone density screenings will be offered to event attendees.                                                                                     

            Tickets are $40.  For more information and to reserve your seat, please call the Holy Spirit Hospital Auxiliary office at 763-2796 by April 23.  Proceeds from the event will benefit Holy Spirit Hospital.
