Lower Paxton Township Unveils New Official USA In-Line Hockey Court
Lower Paxton Township Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce an exciting new addition to George Park! A new in-line hockey court will open to the public on Saturday, April 19th.
The in-line
Hockey Court will allow for children’s instructional hockey leagues, as well as open games for adults and children. Programs are set to begin in April. This is the first time the Township will have an Official USA Full-Size in-line hockey court.
A formal Ribbon Cutting/“Dropping of the first puck” will be held Saturday, April 19th at 11:00am. Youth players will be on-hand beginning at 10:00 for a pick-up game.
Hot dogs, refreshments, and information on upcoming programs will also be available. The event is FREE and open to the public.
