A Night of Entertainment Raises Money for Friendship Center Scholarship Fund

Where can you go to marvel at top-rated gymnasts, groove with hip-hop dancers, watch a ballet, and get a free Tango lesson...for only $5.00?
That and more will be part of the Friendship Center’s 6th Annual Family Night, an event that raises money for the Center’s scholarship fund.
The event will be held Sunday, March 2nd from 5-8:30pm. For a donation of only $3.00/person or $5.00/family, attendees to Family Night can enjoy the entire center, including pool & fitness center, and watch the entertainment which will be on hand all evening.
Performances on The Starbuck’s Stage include:
Harrisburg Gymnastics USA Team, Harrisburg Institute of Tae Kwan Do, Richie’s School of Dance Jazz Ensemble Team, Central Dauphin majorettes, and the CD East Step Team.
In addition, PA Dancesport will also offer FREE Salsa & Tango lessons immediately following their performance. The Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet will also offer instruction after their performance.
FREE cake will be served. Pizza & soda will be available for purchase.
All money raised on Family Night goes to the Friendship Center Scholarship Fund, which provides assistance toward family memberships & programs to those who demonstrate a financial need.
The event is co-sponsored by Giant Foods, Starbucks, and the Lower Paxton Township Arts Council.
The Friendship Community Center is located at 5000 Commons Drive, just off of Route 22 in Lower Paxton Township.
