The Central Dauphin High School Band Boosters Association will host its 18th Annual Spring Craft Show at Central Dauphin High School, 437 Piketown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112, on Saturday, March 8, 2008 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Admission and parking are free.

The Band Boosters Spring Craft Show, an indoor event, features items from over 150 crafters who come from near and far.  The Spring Craft Show emphasizes handcrafted items, including wood crafts, jewelry, clothing, pottery, ceramics, silk florals, and many other unique items.  Besides the variety of handcrafted items, the show includes food concessions and raffles throughout the day.

All proceeds from the Spring Craft Show support the Central Dauphin High School band program, which includes the school’s marching band, two concert bands, three jazz bands, three indoor units, and the pit for the high school musical.  The Central Dauphin Ram Marching Band is led by Mr. Matthew Ceresini, only the third Band Director at Central Dauphin since 1955.

“Over the past two decades, the Spring Craft Show has really grown into a major community event.” Mr. Ceresini said, “We’re grateful not only to the crafters who bring a variety of one-of-a-kind items but also to the folks from the community who come out and shop.  Please come out on March 8 to show your support for a great group of students.”
