A couragious group of women from all corners of our Nation have one thing in common: they have lost a son or daughter in the service of our country.
They call themselves the American Gold Star Mothers.
Recently in Central PA, the oldest member of the PA Department of American Gold Star Mothers was presented with the Honor & Remember Flag. The 89 year old lost her son in 1978 when he was serving in the Navy.
