What a great story. Visions of the Bad News Bears, Soccer style. I'm sure your Blue Sharks will remember you for a long time to come.

More coaches need to be like you and teach sportsmanship at all levels of the game. Sometimes I think too much pressure is put on young athletes to win at all costs. They need to be reminded the game is fun.

Kudos to you for stepping up to the plate and helping to provide those 6 boys with an experience I am sure they will never forget. The boys were lucky to have you as their coach, and it seems that you were also lucky to have them be a part of your life - even if it was just for a soccer season. Good luck on Saturday!
