As a photographer, traveling with tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment halfway across the country is not the most convenient thing. So my biggest fear on these bowl trips is that something is either going to get lost or damaged during flight. Or during the exchange at a layover. I'm happy to report that from HIA to Cincinnati to San Antonio, all the gear made it in once piece. That's half the battle right there. I'd like to think that I'm beginning to master the art of flying with a hundred pounds of gear after three straight years of December/January bowl trips. So here's to a safe return trip home for Jaime, myself and my gear.
