An incorrect graphic regarding the Senators' offensive explosion aired on CBS 21 News at 11 on Tuesday night, April 8th.
The Senators have played five games, not six as reported. The number of runs scored this season should be 41, not 49.
For some reason, my source - the official website of Minor League Baseball - has posted the box score for the Senators' first game, twice. Therefore, that game was counted two times, instead of one.
That web page is a bit misleading. In my opinion, they should remove the box from the first line and use the second box score only, since the game was completed on Saturday, April 5th. Although in MiLB's defense, the pitchers of record are the same.
I regret the error.
