Two local ex-big leaguers, Gene Garber and Greg Gross, are on the ballot for the Phillies' Wall of Fame.
Fans are part of the process, too. Here's the info and where to vote, according to a release from the team:
For the third consecutive year, fans will again have a voice in which former Phillies player, manager or coach is selected to the team’s Wall of Fame in 2008.
Voting begins today at http://philadelphia.phillies.mlb.com/fan_forum/index.jsp?c_id=phi and ends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 21.
Fans can select their top three choices. A first-place vote is worth five points, second place three points and third place one point.
The top five fan consensus choices as determined by total points will serve as the final official ballot for a special Wall of Fame Selection Committee that will choose this year’s inductee.
